Welcome to The Tiger-Cub and Juniors Programs
There are two children’s programs from Tiger-Rock Martial Arts: Tiger-Cubs and Juniors. Tiger-Cubs is their early childhood program for children between the ages of 4 to 6. Juniors are the elementary program that is for children between the ages of 6 and 11 years old.
These programs teach children the basics and help them to build a foundation in martial arts. Tiger-Cubs will practice symmetrical movements to help them develop balance and coordination. Juniors will learn kicking and striking drills that will develop their speed and agility.
Tiger-Rock doesn’t just train ages 4 – 11; they also train teenagers and adults. The children’s programs help lay the groundwork for the later classes as they get older. Throughout their time with Tiger-Rock, they will build their self-discipline, confidence, and self-concept.
Tiger-Cubs
Since they are building their foundation in martial arts, they focus on training that refines their cognitive development. Coordination and balance are an essential part of your child’s life right now. We assist them through this time of their development by teaching them bilateral movements, which will help asymmetrical development. Each class is an action-packed and dynamic 30-minute class.
Here at Tiger-Rock, we teach life skills that will build a foundation of their ethical and moral beliefs. These 7 life skills will help them to become dependable and respectful leaders as they grow.

Juniors

After your little one graduates from Tiger-Cubs, then they will become a part of Juniors. Juniors are for children who are ages 6 to 11, and they focus on more advanced movements. Some of what they practice are striking and kicking drills, which are to help them build their speed and agility. Additionally, they will continue to practice the 7 life skills your child learned in the Tiger-Cubs program.
In addition to the Juniors class, we offer an honors program for those who excel on and off the mat. Through the honors program, your child will have the opportunity to participate in leadership roles that will help them grow their skills.
