If you’re looking for Creekside TX Mixed Martial Arts Training, you’ll find that Tiger-Rock Martial Arts offers the best training around. We train in several different martial arts styles. If you’ve seen mixed martial arts on TV and want to learn a fighting style like Muay Thai or judo, come to Tiger-Rock. At our Creekside location, our instructors are experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technicians. Additionally, you can learn the art of Han Mu Do or Taekwondo at our dojo.
Few dojos in the area offer more than one form of martial arts. As a result, your skillset is limited. Furthermore, if the instructors can only teach one style, they can’t properly advise you. What if your energy level or ability is more suited for another style? They won’t be able to suggest an alternative style. Our instructors understand that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to martial arts. If you want to learn a particular martial art, we’re willing to teach you whichever style you prefer. However, if your goal is to become the most skilled martial arts that you can be, no matter the style, we can recommend the best option for you. There are benefits to each style, and our instructors have years of experience training in them all.

Our instructors are experts in all forms of Martial Arts and are here to help you achieve your goals.
Our Creekside TX Mixed Martial Arts Training
As we mentioned above, we offer three different fighting styles. Fortunately, each style offers similar benefits. You’ll get physical training and improve your endurance. Furthermore, you’ll learn self-defense. In fact, the only time you can use your skills outside of the dojo is in self-defense. Additionally, you’ll reap many mental benefits. You’ll think faster, make wiser decisions, and handle stress better.
Taekwondo
Taekwondo is our most popular martial arts form. This martial arts originated in Korea and focus primarily on kicks. Punches are used a back-up strike. You’ll learn various kicks, some reaching up to head-level.
A common misconception that people have is that taekwondo can’t be used in mixed martial arts. While you’ll want to supplement with additional training for ground-level sparring to be fully prepared, taekwondo is not out of place in the MMA ring. We teach Taekwondo self-defense, so we prepare our students to avoid being taken down and how to escape the position if necessary.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
BJJ is a very popular mixed martial art form, brought to many people’s attention through MMA programming such as UFC. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques include standing and ground strikes, with the focus being on the latter. BJJ is very versatile and can prepare you to successfully defend yourself in practically any scenario. Furthermore, you’ll learn that size doesn’t matter when it comes to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. That fact alone makes the fighting style ideal for smaller martial artists. You can learn more about our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes here.
Han Mu Do
This martial arts style is actually a combination of various Korean martial arts form. The main focus of Han Mu Do is balance. This style really puts the art in martial arts. This style incorporates all types of strikes, as well as grappling and submission-type moves. Due to the advanced skill level and care required, we offer our Han Mu Do classes for adults.
All of these martial arts forms are taught as an art and as a measure of self-defense. You may have heard that with great power comes great responsibility. If you’re using your skills outside of the dojo or an authorized competition, you’re not acting in accordance with Tiger-Rock’s values. We take safety very seriously. That’s why we always teach you preventative measures and de-escalation strategies along with these powerful physical moves.

Our Creekside TX Mixed Martial Arts Training improves both your mental and physical strength.
